Located in Atlanta, GA, we deliver and sell our packaged North Carolina-style BBQ to residents around metro Atlanta and shipping nationwide. Our Southern specialties include pulled pork, beef barbacoa, and buttermilk-brined pulled chicken, Brunswick stew, and savory sides like potato salad and red slaw. PBBQ’s high-quality meat products are flash-frozen to maintain freshness and reheating is as easy as boiling it in our BPA-free bag – ready in 15 minutes. PBBQ prides itself in sourcing all our pork and beef from local purveyors like Stone Mountain Cattle Co.


Brad Coolidge - Owner

Brad grew up in Greensboro, NC, and graduated from Western Carolina University. Post-college Brad worked in Lexington for 6 years before moving to Atlanta for work. Brad has always had a love for NC BBQ (what North Carolinian doesn’t?) and he cut his teeth in the world of smoking meat when he and a college buddy would meet up at Badin Lake. Working in Lexington, Brad regularly dined and got inspired by spots like Lexington BBQ (Honey Monk’s).

After moving to Atlanta in 2011, Brad continuously traveled back to North Carolina, not just to see family and friends, but to also get his NC BBQ fix that he just couldn't find in Atlanta. This was Brad’s inspiration to bring some top-notch NC style 'cue to ATL. Piedmont BBQ Co. was officially founded in 2015 with Brad cooking all over town, in and out of many backyards, driveways, and restaurants, but eventually had to take a hiatus when his kids were born. Then in 2020 after a long and winding road, he rebooted PBBQ and officially found a home in a brand new commercial kitchen at PREP Atlanta.
